Product design for B2B

B2B product design for the demo and the workday

A B2B product has to pass two tests — short-term and long-term. People on a buying committee have 30 minutes to decide whether it's worth buying. One person will then work in the same screens for hours a day, for years. Our team designs for both scenarios at once: clear enough to win a months-long evaluation, and quick enough for daily work.

Become a client
  • Platforms and consoles: products where admins configure, operators execute and managers review, each role in a surface built for it.
  • Dashboards and analytics: products whose value is a number understood in time. Revenue views, risk engines, operations monitors.
  • Internal tools: the software your own teams run the business on, where a saved click compounds across every seat, every day.
  • AI products for work: copilots, assistants, and agentic features inside B2B products, with the explainability and trust patterns that decide whether anyone adopts them.

Is this service the right fit for you?

This is for you if

  • Product and design leaders vetting a B2B UX design agency for a product with real workflows: roles, approvals, states, integrations.
  • B2B SaaS where the screens are dense because the work is dense.
  • Products evaluated for months by a committee before anyone signs.
  • Teams that need admin, permissions, and settings designed on purpose.

Not for you if

  • Consumer apps and marketplaces. That is a different craft with different instincts. See product design for B2C.
  • A visual refresh with no workflow underneath.
  • Teams that want screens delivered without anyone available to answer questions about the domain.

Stages we cover

Become a client
01

Discovery and validation

We learn the domain, interview the people who do the job, and test the riskiest assumptions with working prototypes before anyone commits a roadmap to them.

02

MVP

Zero to one on the core workflow: the smallest product a real team can run its day on, built to learn from paying users.

03

Redesign of a live product

The hardest brief in B2B. Paying customers, trained habits, years of accumulated screens. We restructure the product without breaking the muscle memory that keeps renewals safe.

01

Launch and Scale

The demo path, onboarding, the first admin setup, and the surfaces your sales engineers walk a committee through. Launch is where the buying story and the product have to match. A design system that survives the tenth module, permission models that survive the hundredth role, and patterns your own designers can extend without calling us.

Who we are and why teams like yours work with us

We exist for B2B teams under pressure to turn an AI roadmap into visible product usage, expansion, and a safer story in front of the C‑suite and investors. If design isn’t moving revenue, adoption, or retention, it’s decoration. We design to avoid that. Since 2015, we’ve shipped 600+ products and earned 120+ awards for work on complex, data-heavy tools: fintech platforms, AI copilots, decision engines, and vertical SaaS. Our work has helped clients turn “we have AI features” into “our customers actually use and pay for them.”

We started designing AI products in 2017, long before “AI-native” became a buzzword. With 30+ AI products shipped, we focus on the hard part most teams struggle with: making complex intelligence feel simple, trustworthy, and obviously valuable in a demo, a POC, or a QBR. We’re a 40+ person team of UX strategists, product designers, and analysts who treat design as a business function.

What sets us apart from a typical agency or a single in-house hire is pattern recognition at scale. We’ve seen what works – and what quietly kills adoption – across hundreds of AI and data-heavy products. That lets us spot failure modes early, bring proven interaction patterns to your team, and reduce the risk that your next AI release is another unused toggle in a settings menu.

We start with research not because it’s “best practice,” but because designing without understanding your users, your market, and your revenue model is just guessing with nicer pixels. From there, we collaborate with your product, AI, and design leaders to define where AI should show up, how it should behave, and how to make it obvious, safe, and monetizable.

If you’re a Head of AI, Product, or an AI-native founder who needs AI capabilities to be seen, understood, and used now, not someday, we’re built to be that partner.

How our engagement runs

Become a client
01

Domain immersion

We read your documentation, watch real sales and support calls, and shadow the people who use the product until we can narrate the workflow back to you correctly.

02

Workflow mapping

Roles, states, approvals, and edge cases drawn as one map your team confirms before design starts.

03

Design in the system

Screens are built inside a design system from day one, so the tenth module looks and behaves like the first.

04

Ship in code

We work in your stack alongside your engineers, so designs land as working software.

05

Measure adoption

Instrumented from release, so progress shows up as a usage graph.

Frequently asked questions

How we work, scale, and deliver measurable outcomes.

How do you learn our domain?

Up front and on the clock. Before design starts we read your documentation, watch recorded sales and support calls, and shadow real users in their environment. Then we present the workflow back to you and let your experts correct us. We will not claim fluency in your industry on day one. What we will show you is how fast the gap closes, and we price that ramp honestly.

Do you design admin and permissions too?

Yes, and we treat them as core scope. Roles, permissioning, audit views, settings and configuration are the surfaces where serious buyers judge a B2B product, and they are usually the surfaces nobody designed. We give the admin the attention consumer teams give onboarding.

What makes B2B UX different from B2C?

The buyer and the user are different people, so persuasion and usability get designed separately. Sessions are long and repeated, so efficiency beats delight: keyboard paths, defaults and density matter more than animation. And the evaluation runs for months through a committee, so the product has to survive scrutiny rather than make a first impression. When the opposite instincts apply, our B2C page describes them.

Who do you need from our side?

Three people: a product owner who can decide, a domain expert who can correct us, and an engineer who knows where the pain points are in the current system. A few hours a week from each is enough. Committees can review; the working loop stays small.
